CIDX on the airwaves

Ham band listeners around the world may hear CIDX's amateur radio club call sign, VE6SWL, based at Don Moman's QTH in Lamont, Alberta. Also a second CIDX callsign, VE2AQP, is based at Sheldon Harvey's QTH in Greenfield Park, Quebec. These two call signs are activated for special events, at various times throughout the year. Watch for details of activities on these stations in Messenger. You may hear some of our members calling CQ!

In the Montreal area, FM band listeners can hear Janice and Steve Karlock on the International Radio Report, a weekly 1/2 hour broadcast on CKUT, 90.3 MHz FM, Sunday mornings at 10:30 Eastern time (1430 UTC April to October and 1530 UTC November to March). This show focuses on shortwave broadcasting and the local radio broadcasting scene.
This programme has aired weekly on CKUT-FM since November 1987, originally hosted by Sheldon Harvey.
