CIDX 3rd Annual Listener Survey
for the Fessenden Awards

Note: My sincerest apologies to those who looked for this survey here before mid-December. I didn't check my mail as closely as I should have.
And while I'm apologizing, sorry we don't have the forms software on this server to make filling in the survey easy. Please copy this page to your e-mail programme, then fill in the blanks and send it off. -- Ed.

The results were first announced on Radio Canada International's Maple Leaf Mailbag show in mid-February, and will also appear in the March issue of CIDX's Messenger, as well as being available right here.




Please submit your top three choices, in order of preference, for each of the following questions:

1) Favourite shortwave station, overall.

2) Shortwave station with the best overall news coverage.

3) Favourite music programme on shortwave.

4) Favourite feature, current affairs or magazine programme on shortwave.

5) Favourite mailbag or listener feedback programme on shortwave.

6) Favourite shortwave on-air personality.

7) Favourite DX programme on shortwave.

8) Favourite shortwave station interval signal or signature tune.

9) The shortwave station which issue the best selection of QSL cards.

10) The shortwave station which has the best web page.

Please feel free to elaborate on your choices in each category. Also, please feel free to submit any additional comments, suggestions or criticisms.

The deadline for sending in entries is 10 February 2001.
All entries will be entered into a draw, and one lucky person will receive a one year membership in CIDX (or a one year renewal for existing members). Make sure you include contact information so you can be reached if you are the lucky one.
